Keeping Your Marriage Like A Sweet Honeymoon

Read chapter 11 of Deepening Love--For Marital Happiness and answer the following questions.

Your marriage will be a blessing of God. As such you will want to nourish and cherish it.

List 5 ways in which you could lose your concern for your marriage and partner. What do you intend to do with God's help to prevent them from occurring?

Each of you list the habits of your partner that you dislike the most. Then discuss them. Do you both agree to work at overcoming those habits for the benefit of your partner? Are you both willing to accept your partner's help in overcoming them? Agree on what each of you will do to help one another overcome them.

Groom: List those habits of your bride. Then together write under them how you will work on them as a team.

Bride: List those habits of your groom. Then together write under them how you will work on them as a team.

Do you appreciate little courtesies, surprise gifts, cards, love notes, dates together, intimate conversations?

How would each of you feel if these were forgotten in the future and faded from your relationship?
List the little niceties each of you cherish the most and are least willing to lose in the future.
What do you intend to do to prevent them from fading from your relationship?

What can you do to thwart the boredom of daily routine in the years ahead?
